Understand today. Plan the next step.

See what the service covers

The work, explained

A clearer picture of your home.

Share the reason for the inspection so we can agree on the scope. An electrical assessment is focused on the system and concerns you need to understand.

Panel & accessible wiring

Review accessible equipment and visible wiring conditions within the agreed scope, including concerns about aging components or previous modifications.

Outlets, switches & protection

Review selected outlets, GFCI and AFCI protection, and accessible smoke and carbon monoxide alarm concerns within the agreed scope. An electrical visit does not replace manufacturer alarm testing or emergency response.

Troublesome symptoms

Discuss recurring trips, unreliable devices or other concerns. Some symptoms may require dedicated troubleshooting beyond a general inspection.

Priorities you can understand

Review findings and recommended next steps, separating immediate concerns from possible improvements and future project planning.

Worth talking through

A good time to take a closer look.

An inspection can help you make a better-informed decision. It is also useful when your home and its electrical needs are changing.

Tell us about your home

Before a home purchase

Share any general home-inspection findings and transaction deadlines. Confirm the scope and any documentation needs before booking.

Before adding equipment

An EV charger, larger appliance or major renovation may warrant a focused capacity and installation review.

After unexplained problems

Repeated electrical issues deserve a diagnosis. Describe the symptoms so we can plan the right type of assessment.

Have a question about your project?
Talk with AAA.

Is this the same as a city permit inspection?

No. A service assessment does not replace an inspection required by the local permitting authority. Let us know if your project involves a permit so the correct steps can be discussed.

Will the inspection find every hidden issue?

No inspection can guarantee the condition of concealed wiring or inaccessible areas. The scope and access limitations should be discussed before the visit.

Can you inspect a home before I buy it?

Contact AAA with the property details, permission for access, deadline and any existing inspection report. Confirm availability and the documentation you need when scheduling.

Are repairs included in an inspection?

Inspection and repair scopes are separate unless specifically agreed otherwise. Findings can be used to discuss and approve any additional work.
